The availability of Computer Aided design which is what we use here are Campbell Custom Jewelry in Philadelphia has really taken the jewelry design industry to the next level. We use this technology to create all of our engagement rings, wedding bands and all fine jewelry we custom make here in our Philadelphia shop.

The 3d print has really revolutionized the Manufacturing process. If we need to print one or 100s of models we can achieve this using one of our 3d printers we have in our Philadelphia Custom Jewelry shop where we make all of our own custom jewelry. This process can take as little to few hours to overnight.

To actually turn these waxes into gold the process is the same as it has been for years. The models are attached to a tree like structure each one separately attached to a wax tree branch. The placement of the models is very Important to the outcome of the cast. The entire wax structure ( Or tree as it is called) is placed in a flask. The flask is filled with a plaster type material. The flask is then place in an oven which melts out all the wax leaving the model impressions in the material. At this point molten gold is poured into the structure leaving a gold tree in place of where the wax one was.

Now the ring goes into the many steps of polishing, assembly and stone setting. Until the final product is ready for our finial inspections for quality control.
