I’m not one to typically post reviews but in this case it is well deserved. Rich was fantastic to work with from the very beginning. He never once pressured me to buy and was always informative and looking to help me make sure I understood the many nuances of an engagement ring. Once we had a good idea of what I wanted, he obtained 5 diamonds that were very similar to what I wanted but each with unique pros/cons to help me determine what I wanted vs. what I needed and was patient with me the whole time. The ring came out better than I had ever expected and the final price was lower than what he initially told me. I will absolutely go back and would recommend to anyone who is in the market for jewelry.

Let me start off by saying I’m not a person who writes reviews at all, but Campbell Jewelers changed my mind. I visited Rich and Ed on the recommendation of 2 of my friends after they bought their engagement rings. After visiting a few other stores looking for an engagement ring, these guys were a breath of fresh air. Rich was an absolute pleasure to deal with and I’ve never felt more comfortable on such a large purchase. I’ve stressed more over picking out an iPhone case. No pressure sales with prices better than buying online. They were extremely helpful with getting me the absolute best diamond while working in my budget. I had a very specific design that I needed for the engagement band and they absolutely nailed the exact design I had in mind. They used CAD to help design the band, but more importantly they have the expertise to make my dream become a reality. My only regret is that I didn’t go there first. Do yourself a favor and don’t go anywhere else besides Campbell Jewelers! Thanks guys. You did a great job with my fiancee’s ring!

I had been saving for an engagement ring for around two years before I walked in to Campbell and Company. I knew exactly the type of ring I wanted, had set a spending limit and did as much research as possible on the 4 C’s to be sure I was getting the best deal for my money. I spent hours poring over reviews on various sites online before setting foot in a store. I eventually settled on Campbell and Company because they were the ONLY shop on all of Jewelers Row that didn’t have a single bad review. I figured this had to be a good sign. When I did finally walk in I knew I was in to the right place. Rich helped me sort out all of the details painlessly over a lunch break and in less than a week he called to let me know my custom ring was done. When I saw the finished product I was flat out astonished. And when I finally proposed my fiance’ was left speechless. We’ll definitely be returning here for our wedding bands and any other jewelry purchase to be made in the future. You could try shopping around, but you’ll be wasting your time. Go with Campbell and Company, they won’t do you wrong.

I only have incredible things to say about my experience working with Ed and Rich. Ed is the best in the business. He’s honest, straightforward, and fair. He was very knowledgeable. He worked on finding a ring based on my specs, budget and design preferences. Ed provided recommendations when necessary and did not suggest things outside of my scope. Campbell and Co. has been my go-to jeweler for years but they really knocked it out of the park with my wedding band. My engagement ring had been purchased elsewhere and Rich went above and beyond to create a matching platinum wedding band. The first version didn’t match exactly and he completely re-did it without any additional charge or issue. The finished product is absolutely incredible and was well under budget. If you want a jeweler that’s super nice, very thorough and straightforward with no gimmicks, definitely go to Campbell and Company.

Ed and Rich were absolutely the easiest and most fun to work with. They made a relatively stressful process into a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Not only that, the product and service they delivered were second to none. The ring they made my fiance is stunning and impeccable and she honestly could not be happier. I would recommend their services to anyone and everyone.

We were introduced to Ed and Rich 6 years ago when my husband and I were shopping for an engagement ring. A friend introduced us to Campbell & Co. as Rich designed our friend’s engagement ring. We purchased a beautiful diamond and worked with Rich to design the engagement ring and wedding band. They turned out beautiful and it was a great pleasure to work with Rich. I was nervous going to jewelers shopping for a ring with a lab created gem. However the Campbell’s embraced idea and had great ideas of their own. The engagement ring I gave to my future wife is perfect thanks to them. Also, their dog Cody is awesome.

I love this place and the men that work here. It’s a father and son, I believe, Rich and Ed. I brought a sterling silver ring into them to fix. It needed a custom onyx stone replaced. Not of much money value, but it was my grandmother’s and I really wanted to get it fixed. He flawlessly replaced the stone and didn’t charge me an arm and a leg! I have brought some other stuff to them, and every time they are wonderful, understanding, and know exactly what I want.

I came by Campbell’s first on my search for /the/ diamond. This family owned operation really set the bar high in terms of explaining what they are selling and treating you like a human. This was great compared to the many other options you have next door.

In the end, I was traveling and timing made me buy what I needed elsewhere. But I did want to leave a note that I will be back and do recommend this company.

I can’t emphasize enough how great Rich and Ed were to work with! When doing a simple Google search of Jewelers in Philadelphia, I found Campbell & Company’s website. I was taken back by their designs, and the overall positive feel I got from the site. When I stopped in to discuss engagement rings with Ed, he made me feel at home. He’s hilarious, he’s down-to-earth and he honestly remembers everybody. I purchased my fiancee’s engagement ring, and proposed 1 1/2 months later. I came in with my grandmother’s ring with the intent of purchasing a new setting before I proposed to my girlfriend. Ed talked me out of it and convinced me to give it to my girlfriend with the original setting and let her decide. It turns out that she ended up loving the original setting. Ed talked me out of a sale just to make sure I was doing the right thing and he even cleaned the ring for me for free…he’s a true class act!

I happened to meet Mr. Campbell in a public setting and was very impressed with his kindness and friendly personality. A few years later when it was time to look for an engagement ring his store was the first I visited. During the first visit, Mr. Campbell taught me a lot of the important aspects of diamonds and answered any and all questions I had. I visited a few other jewelers but none could match his friendliness and integrity. When I decided which diamond and setting to buy, Mr. Campbell made the entire process very easy. My fiancé is VERY happy with her ring. Rich was also able to make me some custom pieces made of family heirlooms, something a lot of other jewelers told me wasn’t possible. It was also always nice seeing Cody, the Campbell’s pet golden retriever at the store. Without question I will be visiting Mr. Campbell for any and all jewelry needs I have in the future.

Ed and Rich are wonderful people and masters at their craft. Initially I purchased an engagement and our wedding bands from them. They taught me how to choose the best diamond within my price range without any pressure. They shipped in many diamonds for me to look at until I found the right one. Simultaneously they designed a custom setting for the diamond based on some pictures I sent them, and was able to tweak everything and show me examples of the art they were creating. Finally to be able to see a mold of the ring before it was cast was pretty cool too. Even after receiving the wonderful final product, they have been easy and fantastic to work with for adjustments and maintenance. I have since gone back to purchase other jewelry from them without hesitation in knowing I will get an amazing product!

Our relationship with Cody, Ed, and Rich started in 2011 when my then boyfriend searched high and low for the perfect place to purchase my engagement ring. I’ve heard his story- he literally looked up and down Jewelry Row and surrounding areas to find somewhere that not only offered GIA Certified Diamonds, but also made him comfortable, after all this purchase would be life changing (if I do say so myself). He found just that place at Campbell and Company. Not only is my engagement ring from there, but also our wedding bands, my anniversary band, my 30th birthday present, and most precious of all, a custom-designed (Thanks, Rich!) birth stone necklace representing our twins. Each experience was just what you’d want it to be – friendly, no pressure, knowledgeable, and just plain easy. The customer service at Campbell & Company is always a step above. We feel like family when we walk in the doors and honestly, we are treated that way, too. There’s no pressure to buy, but when you do, you know you’re getting quality. Plus, we just walk-in most of the time – drop off the rings for a little cleaning, see what else we might “need,” etc, and they’re always welcoming. I cannot rave enough about their services. I wish I had 1000 friends to send in.

Ed and Rich! I can’t say enough about how great this place was for me. so when I decided to go out looking for an engagement ring I did what most people do, I did some internet research to get some pricing info. I then checked out a couple of the local places in jewelers row area. I went to the “I Hate” place and while the customer service was great I didn’t feel the price for the quality of diamond was good. For my budget, I felt that the diamonds they were showing me were not up to par. So I did some deeper research and came across Campbell & Co. I read the reviews they had and I liked that there were not many of them, but also noticed that they had no negative reviews. None! We know people are definitely more likely to leave a bad one than a good one. So I went in with some basic ideas of what I wanted and was in for a shock. The shopping experience was great. They were laid back and did not seem pushy at all. I went on to design my perfect ring with them over the next couple of weeks. Never underestimate the chance to design your ring, they will take their time with you and craft the perfect ring. My fiance ended up LOVING the ring I designed and we also ended up getting our wedding bands from them. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for engagement/wedding rings. By the way, don’t forget to say hi to their 4 legged buddy that roams around.

We went to multiple jewelers in the area until we found Rich and his father and of course the dog!! He taught us so much about shopping for a diamond and we trusted him right away. We chose our perfect diamond which was GIA certified. I wanted a very specific custom ring I sent Rich a picture and he created it better than I could have imagined. He was so easy and understanding of our needs and price range and gave us my dream ring. I am complemented on the ring daily. He created a custom wedding band as well that fits perfectly with my engagement ring. Campbell Jewelers is a quality, honest place that creates works of art that you will cherish forever. I’m recently engaged, and requested a unique stone for my engagement ring (morganite). My fiance bought a beautiful ring, and while I was in Philadelphia on a business trip, I realized the stone was a little loose (not sure if this happened when it was resized or not, but it was hard not to panic)! I found Campbell & Company online, and picked them because of their great reviews.

The Campbells were so helpful, so kind, and fixed my ring within 24 hours. It looks wonderful, and I can rest assured that I won’t lose this beautiful, and very large stone! Amazingly, they even did it free of charge! You should definitely head down there and meet Cody… you’ll understand immediately why he’s always the Employee of the Month! Campbell & Co is a great local business and I plan to buy my wedding band from them in the near future.

My engagement ring and wedding band were made by Campbell Jewelers and I recently stopped by for what I thought was a missing micro pave diamond on my engagement ring. Turns out, it was just pretty dirty 🙂 My ring was returned to me sparkling. This is a great jeweler all around…friendly, honest and beautifully made jewelry.

I came to Campbell Jewelers after looking for a jeweler who could do custom work for me, and create 2 rings from stones that had been passed down throughout my family.  I cannot speak highly enough of Rich and all that he did.  He brought my ideas to life, and worked with me through each step of the process – sending me pics of the designs, talking through the carat weight of other stones I was adding to the rings, and the finishes of each ring (smooth/brushed/etc.).  He worked within my budget and the finished products far exceeded my expectations.  His craftsmanship and attention to detail are something that you just don’t easily find today in a jeweler.  I would recommend Rich and the entire staff at Campbell to anyone looking for a jeweler who cares.

Came in to get a replacement chain for a beloved necklace, thought I had a clever solution. I learned that what I was trying to do was not the right thing, got the proper replacement chain at a very reasonable price and very quickly. My necklace looks like new. Very impressed!

I work in the Center City area and was looking at different jewelers to purchase an engagement ring. The thought of purchasing an engagement ring was imposing. I had no idea about engagement rings and even how to go about figuring out what my girlfriend would want. But despite all this, I need to emphasize what an excellent experience I had with Campbell and Company!

I can’t speak highly enough of Campbell Jewelers. They are wonderful. I designed my engagement ring with Ed. My daughter liked it so much her husband had one made for her exactly like my. When it came to the wedding my daughter designed a wedding band to match the engagement ring. It came out so beautiful I had one made for myself. I purchase all my jewelry from them and have them fix or redesign my jewelry.
